Our client is an established specialist contractor delivering high-quality internal glass and mirror fit-outs - from one-off bespoke shower panels for private clients to major, multi-month projects supplying and installing 200+ shower screens and mirrors for large apartment developments.
Right now, we’re looking for a driven Project Co-Ordinator - Installation Project Manager. to join their team and take projects seamlessly from "job won" to "job done."
About Project Co-Ordinator - Installation Project Manager the role
Every week, you’ll oversee around 30 live projects of varying scale and complexity, typically ranging in value from £500 to £150,000. Your job? Make sure everything happens smoothly on time, and to the highest standard.
Key responsibilities for the Project Co-Ordinator - Installation Project Manager include:
Taking a detailed handover from our Estimating team, reviewing correspondence and drawings to understand exactly what’s required.
Introducing yourself to the client team, clarifying any gaps, discussing timelines, and setting expectations.
Scheduling surveys and templating.
Reviewing survey drawings, cross-checking against the brief, clarifying finishes, cutouts, and purpose with the client, and providing technical advice.
Creating manufacturing drawings and compiling hardware/consumables lists.
Procuring what’s needed for manufacture and installation.
Scheduling installation dates, liaising with site teams, confirming delivery logistics and site access.
Proactive and responsive communication with clients throughout - keeping them informed and reassured.
Working with their QS team on invoicing and managing variations.
Ultimately ensuring each project is delivered to complete client satisfaction.About you
This role is for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, detail-driven construction environment and can handle the inevitable pressures of site timelines and client expectations.
Experience: At least 2 years in project co-ordination within construction / contracting - ideally from:
- A glass fit-out company
- A specialist joinery fit-out contractor
- OR you might currently be a Site PM who wants to move into the office side
Technical know-how: Able to interpret conceptual and design drawings and figure out how to make them work in glass and mirrors.
Steely personality: Calm but firm when dealing with high-pressure deadlines and demanding clients; able to build trust, defuse issues and push projects forward.
Organisation & communication: You’re meticulous with details and confident talking with everyone from architects to site managers.Why join our client?
