Description

Estimator – Internal Fit-Out (preferably in architectural glass, kitchens, or bathrooms).
Salary: Up to £40,000 negotiable depending on experience.

  • 8 am to 5 pm / 8:30 am to 5:30 pm (alternate weeks)
  • Early finish Fridays

Our client, a leading manufacturer  and is seeking an experienced Estimator to join their high-performing team. Known for delivering top-tier, high-end glass solutions to main contractors, fit-out specialists, and joinery firms, this company works on projects ranging from £1,000 to £1,000,000 

The Role of the Estimator
As a Estimator, you’ll be managing 5-15 tenders at any given time, ensuring accurate and timely quotes that shape the success of prestigious projects.

Key Responsibilities of the Estimator

  • Estimate & Tender: Prepare accurate quotes, factoring in glass specifications, hardware, and installation details.
  • Client Collaboration: Liaise effectively with contractors, suppliers, and end-users to ensure project details are precise.
  • Technical Expertise: Conduct take-offs from architectural/technical drawings with precision.
  • Excel Proficiency: Create comprehensive estimates with advanced Excel skills.
  • Detail Mastery: Ensure all elements of the project – aesthetic and technical – are accounted for.

The Ideal Estimator Will Have:

  • Experience: 18+ months of estimating large-scale projects in internal fit-outs (preferably in architectural glass, kitchens, or bathrooms).
  • Technical Know-How: Proficiency in reading and taking off from architectural drawings.
  • Excel Savvy: Ability to handle complex spreadsheets and deliver professional quotes.
  • Strong Communicator: Confident in resolving queries with contractors and suppliers.
  • Meticulous & Organised: Ensures quotes are precise and deadlines are met.
  • Proactive & Solution-Oriented: Ready to tackle challenges in a dynamic environment.
