Mortgage Administrator
£27,000 – £30,000 DOE

Our client is excited to be recruiting for an experienced and motivated Mortgage Administrator to join their thriving financial services team. The successful Mortgage Administrator will play a key role in supporting mortgage advisers, managing the end-to-end mortgage process, and ensuring clients enjoy a smooth, professional journey from application to completion.

 

Key Responsibilities of the Mortgage Administrator

  • Managing mortgage applications from submission to completion with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Liaising with clients to gather essential documents and provide regular updates.
  • Communicating with mortgage lenders, solicitors, and third parties to meet deadlines.
  • Maintaining accurate and compliant client records and case files.
  • Supporting mortgage advisers with administration and case progression.
  • Proactively chasing outstanding information to keep cases moving.
  • Handling inbound and outbound calls/emails to provide outstanding customer service.

 

Skills & Experience of the Mortgage Administrator;

  • Previous experience as a Mortgage Administrator, Mortgage Case Manager, or within financial services (desirable but not essential).
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple mortgage cases in a fast-paced environment.
  • Confident communicator with excellent verbal and written skills.
  • IT literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Understanding of FCA regulations and compliance (an advantage).
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and a strong team player.
