To £20 per hour and 25% shift uplift
- Monday–Thursday: 14:00 – 22:00
- Friday: 13:00 – 20:00

The Role of the CNC Turner
As a CNC Turner Programmer/Setter/Operator on the late shift, you will play a key role in the daily operation of the manufacturing facility. You’ll be responsible for programming, setting and operating a variety of advanced CNC machining centres, contributing directly to the production of high-precision components that meet the strictest industry standards.
Experience & Competencies Required for the CNC Turner
We’re looking for a candidate with:
- Proven experience as a Programmer/Setter/Operator on Mazak and Doosan CNC machine centres, ideally within a fast-paced precision, prototype or motorsport engineering environment
- Strong working knowledge of Fanuc or Mazatrol controls
- Excellent understanding of engineering drawings, with the ability to perform accurate in-process dimensional and visual checks using appropriate measuring equipment
- Experience machining a wide variety of metals and plastics
- Clear, confident communication skills and the ability to provide concise feedback across teams
- The ability to work efficiently to deadlines, manage priorities and maintain quality under pressure
- Willingness and capability to mind multiple machines when required
- A proactive mindset, able to work with autonomy and solve problems independently
