We are looking for a highly motivated Multi-Skilled Clearance Administrator to join our clients Customs Clearance & Data Bureau team. This is a varied and hands-on role combining customs documentation, data processing, client communication and operational support.

The Role of the Multi-Skilled Clearance Administrator
You will play a key role in preparing and processing import/export customs clearances while supporting internal departments and maintaining excellent customer service standards. Approximately 15% of the role will involve physical checks of vehicle contents.
Key Responsibilities of Multi-Skilled Clearance Administrator
- Monitor and manage shared workflow mailboxes
- Process and route emails to appropriate internal departments
- Communicate with clients by phone and email regarding job status
- Receive data files and job instructions via email and SFTP
- Prepare, check and process import/export customs documentation
- Calculate and verify duties, taxes and international charges
- Ensure full compliance with HMRC and Border Force regulations
- Use Sequoia, Savvy (bespoke system) and other customs entry systems
- Visually inspect vehicle contents when required
- Complete paperwork accurately and neatly
- Maintain organised workspaces and a positive team approach
- Contribute to continuous process improvement

- Confident IT user (Excel & Word)

- Able to follow procedures and work independently
Desirable:
- GCSE Maths & English (Grade C/4 or above) or equivalent
- A/AS Level or Graduate calibre
- Knowledge or interest in IT, data or databases
- Excel skills including VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables
- Experience with customs software or logistics systems
