Warehouse Operative

Join a Great Team | Full-Time Opportunity | Immediate Impact

To 28k

Are you reliable, hardworking and ready to roll up your sleeves? Looking for a hands-on role where your contribution genuinely matters?

We’re looking for a Warehouse Operative to join a busy, well-established logistics operation, helping ensure customer orders are picked, packed and dispatched accurately and on time.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys staying active, takes pride in doing a job well and wants to be part of a supportive team where everyone plays their part.

No two days are quite the same, and your hard work will make a real difference.

The Role of the Warehouse Operative

Working as part of the warehouse team, you’ll help keep daily operations running smoothly, ensuring stock is handled safely, orders are prepared accurately and customers receive the products they need on time.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Receiving, checking and putting away incoming deliveries.
  • Picking and packing customer orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Preparing orders for dispatch to meet daily deadlines.
  • Replenishing stock and helping maintain accurate inventory levels.
  • Reporting damaged, missing or incorrect stock to the Warehouse Supervisor.
  • Keeping the warehouse clean, tidy, safe and organised.
  • Following established warehouse procedures and health and safety guidelines.
  • Supporting colleagues to achieve daily targets and maintain a smooth-running operation.

What We’re Looking For in the Warehouse Operative

You don’t necessarily need years of warehouse experience. What matters most is your attitude, reliability and willingness to get stuck in.

You’ll be well suited to this role if you are:

  • Reliable and punctual – someone the team can count on.
  • Hardworking and motivated – happy to stay productive throughout the day.
  • A team player – willing to support colleagues and work towards shared goals.
  • Accurate and organised – able to follow instructions and handle stock carefully.
  • Flexible and adaptable – comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physically capable – happy with a hands-on role involving lifting, moving stock and spending much of the day on your feet.
  • Comfortable with basic IT, literacy and numeracy – essential for following instructions and processing orders accurately.

Previous warehouse experience in picking, packing, stock control or dispatch would be beneficial.

Experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS), particularly Sage, or holding a valid forklift licence would also be an advantage, but neither is essential.

If you have the right attitude and a strong work ethic, we’d love to hear from you.

What’s In It for You?

Alongside the opportunity to join a friendly and supportive team, you’ll benefit from:

  • 20 days’ paid annual leave, plus bank holidays.
  • Company pension scheme.
  • Free on-site parking.
  • A supportive working environment where teamwork and individual contributions are valued.

You’ll be joining an established international supply and distribution business serving a wide range of trade industries, with a central logistics operation that plays a vital role in delivering orders to customers every day.

Here, you’re more than just a number. You’ll be part of a team that values reliability, commitment and people who take pride in what they do.

Ready to Get Started?

If you’re dependable, enthusiastic and looking for a practical role where you can make a difference, we’d encourage you to apply.

We recognise that you may not meet every requirement listed above. If you believe you have the right qualities for the role, we’d still love to hear from you.

Apply today and take the next step towards joining a hardworking, supportive warehouse team.
