- Our client is a widely recognised and highly regarded Company who are market leaders within the organics recycling and renewable energy business. With an extensive history and various plants across the south east they are a dynamic Client who are consistently forward thinking and pro-active within their specialised field.
Brief Role Description
Your role is to provide support and assistance to the Technical Support team, across 5 plants within the Oxfordshire area. Predominantly working alongside the Electrician to assist in installation, fault finding and repair of a wide range of systems and machinery.
Main Responsibilites and Requirements
Provide Support to the Technical team
Liaise with Plant Managers to deliver effective support
Undertake appropriate training
Familiarization of control systems
Sourcing of parts
General building services work
Isolations, termination
Control panel fault finding
System testing and fault finding
Automotive electrical work
Build and improve on a thorough planned preventative maintenance program
Preferred Skills and Desirable requirements
Working knowledge of similar processes
Practical understanding of electrical control systems
Practical understanding of modern health and safety
Computer literate
First Aid an advantage
Telehandler certificate would be an advantage
Ideally, you will have an enthusiastic approach and a can-do attitude and be able to work independently or within a team.
