- Description
- I am looking for a Production Team Leader to work for my client based in North Oxfordshire.
They are growing and have been for a while now, due to the turnover of the products they manufacture. Due to this, they are looking for an individual to work in the Operations department, ensuring that people and resources are managed in an efficient and effective way. The right candidate will also need to make sure that quality and safety standards are adhered to, and that team members are following procedures and are complying with quality requirements.
You will be expected to split your role 60/40, by leading the team and directly supporting the assembly/ building of products. As a team leader, it will be your responsibility to drive your team to meet their day to day responsibilities and targets and to gather KPI data to present to the team and to a Production Coordinator.
Skills required for the role:
*Manufacturing experience of some sort is key to the role and exposure to a varied product types is a great advantage
*Experience leading a team/ teams is essential
*Proven ability to organise your own workload to cope with ever changing demands is essential to the role
*Competent in using IT software packages, such as, MS Word, Excel, Outlook, ERP/ MRP (E.g. EFACS)
*To have knowledge or practical experience of electronics/ PCB manufacture will make you a strong contender for the vacancy
