- Description
- Our client are looking for a Spare Parts Administrator to assist with selling the company's complete range of equipment.
You will need to be computer proficient and able to competently use Word, Excel and Outlook Express. Our client use the Sage accounts program and experience of this would be a bonus. In house training is available.
Experience working within a spare parts department previously would be preferable - either in construction, truck, car, or engineering industry.
Duties will include:
Answering the telephone
Replying to spare parts enquiries received via email or telephone
Producing quotations / pro-forma invoices in Sage
Taking payment over the phone via card machine
Reading technical drawings
Filing
Maintaining company databases
Spare parts ordering with UK suppliers
Spare parts ordering with Italian, Mexican, Turkish & American manufacturers
Organising the dispatch and delivery of spare parts via TNT, DHL, Royal Mail or dedicated freight company
Production of manuals for machines
Maintaining our stock of all vital spare parts
Keeping stock levels updated in Sage
Must be able to commute to and from Buckingham daily.
Hours are 9.00am - 5.00pm Monday to Friday
