- I am looking for a qualified and experienced Press Tool Maker to join a prestigious, family owned business based in Witney on a permanent basis.
They also seek an individual who has experience in tool room management, which will pay between £30-£32k per annum. Please find the details of the Press Tool Maker role below.
Skills and experience essential to the role:
Experience in Press Tool Manufacture
Understand make up of tools and their workings
Experience of progression tools
Understand balancing of tools
Must be able to work independently
Must be able to read drawings
Must have experience with conventional machines
*Milling
*Turning
*Grinding
Desirable skills and experience:
Use of Vertical machining centres
*Programming not a necessity, but understanding code (fanuc based) an advantage
Use of wire eroding machines
*Programming not a necessity, but understanding code (fanuc based) an advantage
Familiarity with CAD
*Able to view and measure data on 3D CAD
