- Description
- I am looking for a Warehouse and Logistics Manager for a rapidly growing company based in Buckingham.
You will be reporting directly to the Project Director, assisting with project delivery i.e. planning, costs, logistics and contractors. Previous experience in transport/ planning is essential.
Key responsibilities:
*To manage and train members of the warehouse team
*Responsible for logistics and technical operations
*Drive and transport exhibits when required
*To act as the main point of contact for suppliers, contractors and all third parties
*Negotiate costs with suppliers and manage budgets, focusing on margins and profit
*Provide quotes to the project management team for shipping purposes
*Raise purchase orders and enter costings into in-house system
*To manage all PAT testing certificates
*To create on-site construction and production plans, which will include administrative necessities
*To always exceed customer expectations with regards to exhibitions and events
*To manage tax, insurance and MOT's and tracking systems for company vehicles
