- Description
- Our Bicester based fine food logistics/manufacturing client is seeking a full time Central Inventory Planner to join their team until October 2018.
Your main responsibilities:
-To ensure that the correct product / stock quantities are available
-Manage stock movement through sales and purchase orders
-Confirm and manage supplier deliveries through direct communication and follow up any discrepancies
-To liaise with account managers regarding menu changes, seasonal impacts and customer requirements
-To assist supply chain managers in the forecasting of volume requirements
-To assist the Goods in Administrator with the management of the booking ladder to ensure that suppliers are using the system correctly
-To assist in keeping the business informed of volume changes / fluctuations that may influence availability and the profitability of the business
-To work in a team-based environment where all managers and employees support each other with department-based workload
-Ensure that your line manager is kept updated on any opportunities or threats that could impact the business and/or operations
-Ensure that all applicable legislation (H&S, Hygiene, BRC, etc) for a modern food business are adhered to
Knowledge and skills required:
-Proven Administration experience
-Experience planning / placing orders
-Strong IT skills, knowledge of Microsoft Excel
-Confident communicator
-Extremely organised to manage multiple tasks
Working hours are Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:30pm, you will also be required to work 1 in 4 Saturdays.
