- I am looking for an Assistant Warehouse Manager to join a very reputable, specialist organisation within Bicester, who have experienced very rapid growth in recent years and continue to do so. The company are based in Bicester, however, the warehouse which requires an Assistant Manager is based just outside of the Town. as such, you will need your own transport.
You will be responsible for the following:
*Goods in
*Picking
*Packaging and despatch
*Storage of goods and correct use of space within the warehouse
*Stock management
*Warehouse health and safety
*Relationships with third parties and suppliers
*Team management and development
*Planning and coordinating
*Producing daily reports
*Team briefing on a daily basis
*Training staff
*Monitoring staff performance
*Checking all machinery and Fork lift trucks
To be considered for the role, you must possess the following skills/ experience:
*Proven track record of warehouse supervisory experience (3-5 years)
*Ability to implement new processes and carry out improvement plans
*People management skills
*Knowledge of warehouse KPI's
*People management skills
*Technical and IT skills. i.e. database management and spreadsheets
40 hours per week, 8:15am - 5pm, Monday to Friday. £28,000 per annum
