Due to continual growth and expansion within their business my client is seeking to recruit 1-2 new Entry level Event/Stores Operators into their team based in Buckingham. You will be working some late evenings and weekends away to cover automotive events across the UK, so it is therefore essential that you have a flexible ability to working hours.
The role of Event Operator is always varied. From installing and managing the equipment throughout the event to looking after any on site hospitality units.
You will be assisting the Stores & Operations Manager in preparing and loading the equipment before transporting it to the event location, as well as cleaning and preparing the equipment pre and post events.
Installing the equipment at the event with the senior event team could involve long hours, potentially late into the evening and sometimes overnight stays in hotels. At times you will be responsible for the equipment throughout the event, dealing with any issues as and when they crop up.
Once the event finishes, you'll pack up the equipment and deliver it back to Buckingham office. Additionally, there are general ad-hoc warehouse duties including cleaning of vans and hospitality units.

*The company will endeavour to promote the entry level role to an Event Operator within 2 years where you will take responsibility for event set up on your own (subject to training etc). Potential earnings for an Event Operator after training can be up to £36K
