- Growing distribution company seek a Machine Operative to join them on a permanent basis.
Responsibilities and skills required for the role:
*The operation and maintenance of Polywrap machinery
*To set up and change over machinery
*Make any required adjustments
*Record all daily activity on a job sheet
*To supervise a small team working on the wrapping line
*Keep the working area clean and tidy
*To adhere to health and safety procedures and regulations
*Good communication skills both written and verbal
*Basic IT literacy skills
Ideally you will have the following:
*Experience as a Machine Operative (Ideally Polywrap (Buhrs. CMC, Sitma)
*Working knowledge of diverse, high-speed machinery and running adjustments
*A good understanding of production procedures
*It would be a huge advantage if you have a background within a mail house environment
*Familiar with a fast paced environment
*Dependable, can-do attitude
*Attention to detail
*Team leader/ supervisory experience
Full training will be provided in required areas, however, you must have a background in operating machinery as a starting point
Working days are 9am-5pm Monday to Friday.
