- Bicester based, luxury food supplier are looking for a Machine Maintenance Engineer on a permanent basis.
Do you have a background in Machine Maintenance within a production environment? If so, we would like to hear from you.
Responsibilities of the role:
*To regularly service a variety of packaging and process equipment
*Be proficient in both electrical and mechanical engineering, including pneumatics
*Carry out preventative maintenance tasks on machinery
*Plumbing, general building & decorating duties when and if required
*Prevent and minimize downtime
*To implement and work towards a proactive and strategic maintenance plan
*To comply with hygiene levels which are extremely high
*Responsible for Completion of pneumatic maintenance
*Store equipment and tools safely and correctly, ensuring that they do not pose a risk to food or health & safety
*Follow company procedures with regard to maintenance, control of visitors and contractors, Including glass, allergen controls and temporary repairs.
*Complete work required and keep maintenance records up to date
*Action pest proofing recommendations and request Health & Safety data sheets
Working hours are 6am-3pm, however, this can change in line with the needs of the business during busy periods. You must be flexible with regards to working hours and duties.
