- Description
- We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic experienced Chef to join our client's family run 35 bedroomed Hotel based in the centre of Bicester.
The Hotel is a popular choice for conferences and weddings along with leisure guests looking to explore the area and is a perfect base to unwind and relax.
You must be passionate about fresh food, local & seasonal, and experienced in using only the finest ingredients.
Typical duties will include:
*Food Preparation
*Cooking to order
*Creation of new dishes
*Contribution to guest satisfaction
*Wedding and Conference high volume catering
*Ensuring food leaves the kitchen to a high standard
*Ensuring the kitchen is kept clean, tidy and organised
*Ensuring stock is correctly stored to minimise wastage
*Ordering of stock
*Working to set GP%
Ideal candidates for the role:
*Will have experience as a Chef de partie or Sous Chef
*You will be happy working a variety of shift patterns
*You will have experience cooking with fresh ingredients
*You will be calm under pressure, disciplined and organised
*Competent understanding of all regulations, food hygiene and company specifications
