- Description
- We are looking to recruit a Marketing Coordinator (1 year maternity cover) for our client based on the outskirts of Bicester. This position will require you to work independently and alongside the MD to assist development and implementation of the marketing strategy for the key promoted brands (including pricing, advertising and promotion, NPD and packaging development and regulatory) in line with overall business objectives.
Duties
*Develop and co-deliver the strategy and marketing activity to support the brands in line with business objectives to maximise market share and brand profitability.
*Manage online marketplaces such as Amazon, Ebay and Fruggo. Ensure all product details, images, stock levels and pricing are correct.
*Coordinate with external marketing agencies to develop strategic plans to compete with competitors and increase sales on marketplaces. Provide support and information when needed, particularly relating to direct top consumer sales.
*Monitor and maintain brand websites. Ensure all product details, images, stock levels and pricing are correct. Create promotion and offer pages to promote products throughout the year.
*In conjunction with MD formulate category marketing strategy and detailed brand plans, ensuring effective implementation and analysis of performance results.
*Full analysis of product performance using internal and external sales performance data and ongoing review of marketing and competitor activity.
*Work with Sales Director ensuring that any account specific marketing / sales activity including Trade Marketing investments do not lose money.
*Effectively manage relationships with all external suppliers / agencies (advertising, packaging, printing etc) to ensure that agreed objectives are delivered on time and within budget.
*Effectively manage communication and strong relationships with all internal departments (sales, finance, operations etc).
*Successfully work alongside the MD to champion new product development helping to manage the process from concept to implementation, to ensure the achievement of measurable results within lead time and cost parameters.
*Attend and support relevant trade and consumer shows and events in UK.
*Manage all operational marketing activities ie photography, point of sale material etc.
*Manage any other duties as required in addition to the above that will be both reasonable and within role capabilities.
