- Description
- Our client based in Buckingham is seeking a Mobile Crane Technician to join their team. Working for a World Class Crane Manufacturer, you will provide field-based service support for products within the UK.
You will service and repair mobile cranes, carry out warranty repairs/inspections and complete accurate service reports. You will provide customers with high quality after sales support, make technical and commercial decisions and provide a fast and effective service in line with product requirements.
You will have a mechanical background and have a minimum of 4 years' experience in a similar role. Crane experience is essential along with knowledge of Hydraulics/Electrics/Mechanics. You will have excellent communication skills and good IT skills.
This is a field-based role working around either the South West (e.g. Bristol) or North West (from Manchester up to Scotland), occasional European travel may be required for training.
You will be part of a 24/7 support line, every 1 in 6 weeks. You will be required to give telephone support with the occasional onsite support (you will not be part of this until you have passed your 6-month probation period).
Normal working hours are Monday to Friday 8am-4:30pm however, occasional over-night stays will be required. You will have your own company van therefore, it is essential you hold a full UK driving licence.
