- Description
- Due to growth within their company our Business to Business IT Support provider based in Bicester are now seeking to recruit a 1st/2nd line IT Support Engineer to join their team.
Whilst the majority of this position is desk based, you will be required to attend site visits and as such it is essential that you have a full UK driving licence.
You will be taking support queries from a range of business customers for their soft/hardware issues to effectively diagnose and remedy the problem. Additionally, you will be installing network, managing existing infrastructure and installing/setting up various server/desktop software.
As well as reactive support you will be performing proactive measure to ensure a fully functioning customer system and highlighting and potential issues as they occur.
You must have a working knowledge of:
*Microsoft Office 365
*Some network and router experience
*Windows 7- windows 10 support experience
*Server 2008-2012 experience (not necessary but nice to have)
Additionally, you will be maintaining offsite backups, cloud solutions and general IT trouble shooting.
It is essential that you have an excellent telephone manner, be a confident and personable character and be highly organised.
