- Description
- Growing Distributor based within very close commutable distance to Bicester, Oxford and surrounding areas, seek a Technician to join their already successful business on a permanent basis.
The organisation has an extensive and varied client base, which includes industries such as medical, electronics, aerospace, automotive (including F1) to name a few. You will be workshop based, performing a mixture of practical tasks with administration duties to follow. Occasional travel is a possibility at times as you may need to meet with suppliers and customers.
Responsibilities:
*Set-up
*Product inspections
*repairs
*Fault finding
*Wiring
*Soldering
*Understand drawings and schematics
*general cleaning duties
*Interacting with suppliers and customers via email and in person
*Writing internal service reports
*Management of demonstration stock
*Support the sales team with set-up and clean down of materials used for customer trials
*Occasionally participating in customer trials
*Assist with upkeep of the technology centre, ensuring that it is fully stocked
This is a hands-on practical role, however, you must always be IT literate and familiar with Excel, Word and Outlook.
