Our very successful Bicester based client is a leading IT and Telecoms marketing agency that has consistent requirements for temporary and temp to perm Business Development Executives to join their team.

As such, I have on-going requirements for temporary Business Development Executives to join project campaigns for specific periods of time (minimum 20 days), through to longer term contracts, plus invariably they also have temp to perm opportunities to join the business on a permanent basis.

The main purpose of the role is to make outbound calls to companies to speak with decision makers to market a specific IT/Telecoms solution, create pipeline, identify and qualify sales opportunities and arrange appointments for customers technical sales staff. Other outbound marketing activities include Event Support, Data Build & Cleanse, Opt-in, Profiling and Partner Recruitment.

It is essential that you are a tenacious self-starter, with the natural ability to establish a rapport and build relationships in order to identify genuine sales opportunities. Whilst this role is telephone based you are targeted on 'quality rather than quantity' and the calls are not scripted in any way. You will be an excellent communicator, able to think on your feet, and overcome objections. You will have experience and demonstrable success in a previous business to business customer service, sales or telephone-based marketing role.

Suitable applicants must be educated to GCSE level/equivalent or higher, with experience (ideally Business to Business) in one of the following: Telemarketing, IT Sales, Telesales, Lead Generation, Business Development, Marketing, Internal Sales, Appointment Setting, Field Sales, Customer Service with upselling. Fluency in a second language is an advantage but not essential.

Hours of work: 8-4pm Monday to Thursday and 8-3:30pm on Fridays, or 9-5pm Monday to Thursday and 9-4:30pm on Fridays (37 hours a week).

Suitable candidates must be available for temporary work for a minimum of 20 working days.
