- Due to employee relocation our well-established civil engineering/plant hire client based on the outskirts of Bicester are now seeking to recruit a part time Administrator to join their small team.
You will be working in a small farm based, family owned, run and managed business that works within the civil engineering industry.
It is essential that you can drive/own a car as there is no public transport. If you have worked within civil engineering, plant hire, utilities or a related construction-oriented industry it will give you an advantage as you will have an understanding/knowledge of the right types of documentation and process terminology. Please note that this is not essential as training can be given; providing you are a solid administrator that can demonstrate longevity within your career to date.
This is an interesting and varied position where no two days are ever the same. You will need to have a thick skin and resilient to challenges within the day and understand the verbal banter working within a construction office.
You will be performing various administration duties, producing quotes on the in-house software and entering risk assessments/method statements onto the bespoke software package.
Updating the job boards and reconciling this to the excel sheet is an essential and ongoing part of the day so the office can effectively keep up with who is where. There is a lot of highly accurate data input involved with this position so it is essential that you have excellent keyboard skills and be highly attentive to detail - this can be at times repetitive but essential to get right first time.
You will be maintaining the tool calibration logs, PA duties and answer general phone/email queries.
Working hours are school based hours (both term and non-term time) Monday to Friday.
