- Description
- Successful, growing business, just under 7 miles from Bicester seek a permanent Warehouse Operative to join their team, working late shifts 2pm- 11pm Monday to Friday.
The successful applicant must enjoy manual work, be fit, strong and healthy due to the nature of the role. you MUST have your own transport due to the rural location of the company; and the fact that you may occasionally be required to carry out deliveries.
Responsibilities of the role:
*Maintaining and controlling stock levels
*Goods- in procedures
*Goods- out (dispatch)
*Loading and unloading vehicles
*Operating Sack Trucks, manually loading items and moving them to their rightful place
*Ensuring the quality of goods entering and leaving the warehouse facility. Checking for any damage and reporting issues, if necessary
*Making sure all paperwork corresponds with the order in question
*Operating a Counterbalance Forklift truck (If licensed, which would be an advantage)
*Occasionally you may be expected to get involved/ carry out deliveries. For insurance purposes, you must have a clean driving licence
*Excellent communication skills, as you will be talking to suppliers and clients
Working days/ hours: Monday to Friday 2pm - 11pm /finish - flexibility will be required to suit the needs of the business. This could be a 9pm finish.
Must have own transport for travel to work due to location.
Salary: £18,000- £20,000 per annum, depending on experience
