- Description
- Due to continued growth and success, I am looking for an experienced Class 2/ Cat C HGV driver, for my client based in Haddenham.
Drivers report to the Haddenham depot each day and start times are between 04:00- 07:00.
Due to the nature of the role and the equipment that you will be transporting, it is imperative that you have previous experience/ knowledge of safe loading procedures and preferably a background in delivering bulk items across the UK.
This is a multi-drop role. However, you will not be delivering palletized items. You will be transporting bulk equipment, provided with all necessary tools required to load and unload the vehicle.
Responsibilities of the role:
*Loading and unloading equipment onto vehicles safely and accurately
*Ensure that items are safe and secure prior to transportation
*Delivery and collection of goods to and from customers
*Good geographical knowledge of the UK and London
*Maintaining all aspects of vehicles care including fuelling and cleaning
*Adhering to company policy and procedures relating to Health and Safety and security
Essential requirements:
*A Digital Tachograph card
*CPC
*Clean and valid Class 2/ Cat C Driving licence
*Candidates with driving licence category C+E are advantageous but not essential
*The ability to work weekends and Nights out when needed (Night are rare, weekends never consist of both days in one week and you may be required to do one sat/ sun each month)
*Ideally you will have experience in transporting bulk items
*Good written and spoken English
Working hours:
Start times vary between 4:00 and 7:00 each morning
Contracted at 42.5 hours per week. Can work up to 55 hours per week

Salary:
£26,520- £30,940 Per annum dependent on experience.
Overtime paid at time and a half on weekends.
