- Description
- My client are a global leader in their industry and are looking for a Warehouse Operative to join their company, based in Bicester, on a permanent basis.
Reporting to the Distribution Manager, you will be responsible for making sure that the flow of orders meet the operational needs of the business. You must have a strong background in warehouse operations/ logistics and distribution to be considered for the role.
Key Responsibilities:
*Ensure accurate picking, packing and despatch of products
*Working to strict deadlines whilst maintaining high quality and accuracy
*Liaising with Internal contacts and other departments
*Picking, checking and packing customer orders in a timely manner
*Moving and recording of stock deliveries
*Loading and unloading of vehicles
*Stock allocation
*Computerised dispatch
*Stock taking when required
*Working to agreed targets and timescales.
*Flexibility in terms of multiskilling and tasking
*Any other responsibilities as required for the successful operation of the department
*You will be required to have good IT literacy and be proficient with Microsoft Office
*Good written and verbal skills
Working hours: 41.5-hour week, Monday to Thursday 9am to 6pm and Friday 09:00 am to 5:30pm.
Salary will depend on your experience.

The interview process is split into 2 stages. The first stage will be a video call. If this is successful, the second stage will be a face to face meeting on site, involving a short practical exercise.
