Experienced in goods in/ warehouse operations?
Company based in Upper Heyford are looking for someone on a permanent basis to look after the stores department and goods in. Due to the location, you must either live in Upper Heyford or be able to drive with your own transport as public transport is not frequent enough.
*You must be computer literate as you will be regularly using stock management systems/ software to keep track, manage and ensure that purchasing records are always up to date
*Running stock reports
*Place stock requisitions when items leave stores
*Follow department guidelines to ensure wastage is minimal and stock levels are properly controlled
*Picking and packing customer orders
*Helping with monthly and yearly stock takes
*Booking in repairs when something is returned as faulty
*Liaise with the Purchasing Team regarding stock shortages and unavailable items
*Prepare kits of materials, components, and sub-assemblies
*Take delivery of goods, ensuring that everything is crosschecked against relevant paperwork, (Correct purchase orders and in a high-quality condition)
*You will occasionally be expected to lift items up to 25kg in weight
*Ensure all working areas are kept clean and tidy in accordance with Health and Safety regulations
Working hours are Monday to Thursday 08:00- 16:15 and 08:00- 15:00 on a Friday, with a 30 minute lunch break.
Salary: Up to £21,000 dependant on experience
