- Description
- I am looking for an Assistant Warehouse Manager/ Supervisor to join a very reputable, specialist organisation within Bicester.
You would be based at their site in Upper Heyford, just outside of the Town. as such, you will need your own transport.
Working hours/ days: 40 hours per week, 8:15am - 5pm, Monday to Friday
Salary: £28,000 per annum
Company benefits: 25 days holiday + Bank holidays, life assurance, medical after 5 years, on site Free Parking, Standard life group company pension scheme.
You will be responsible for the following
*Goods in/ goods out
*Picking/ Packaging
*Storage of goods and correct use of space within the warehouse
*Stock management
*Warehouse health and safety
*Relationships with third parties and suppliers
*Team management and development
*Planning and coordinating
*Producing daily reports
*Team briefing on a daily basis
*Training staff
*Monitoring staff performance
*Checking all machinery and Forklift trucks
To be considered for the role, you must possess the following skills/ experience:
*Proven track record of warehouse supervisory experience (3-5 years)
*Ability to implement new processes and carry out improvement plans
*People management skills
*Knowledge of warehouse KPI's
*People management skills
*IT literate, good understanding / experience using Microsoft Office programmes i.e. Word, Outlook and Excel.
