Warehouse Administrator
Salary: £23,000 per annum
Working hours: 08:15- 17:00 Monday to Friday- I am looking for a Warehouse Administrator for a well-established, local firm with a good reputation for staff retention, growth and stability.
- You will need to have experience working in administration. Ideally, within a warehouse / storage facility, linked to the movement of stock/ products.
- Administration of WMS, including order release, work management, urgent requests, and query resolution.
- Timely processing of all customer complaints, including root cause investigation and improvement suggestions. Prompt escalation to Management where required.
- Perpetual inventory stock check co-ordination. Monitor and chase count progress.
- Deal with all daily, weekly, and monthly exception reports. Report all findings to manager.
- Processing of stock adjustments, transfers and discrepancies as allocated by manager.
- Liaison with third party carriers to resolve all claims and queries.
- Deal with all warehouse queries (email and call handling) until resolution. Escalate when required to management team
- Complete and communicate KPI reports.
- Administration of HM Customs and Dangerous Goods processes and procedures.
- Co-ordination of internal warehouse transfer truck transfers
Control, monitor and replenish all consumables for sites to include packaging, cleaning supplies and stationery. - Monitor and maintain warehouse team holiday calendar.
Temporary resource administration. - Organising and allocation of additional labour as requested by the Management team.
- The timely processing of weekly timesheets to agencies.
- First stage processing of warehouse temporary labour and consumable invoices on Multi-support system.
- Have an awareness of the goods inwards and good returns workflow.
- Assist Warehouse Supervisor in site maintenance organisation and administration (for example printers, photocopiers, packaging equipment, MHE etc).
- Have an understanding and assist the Warehouse Management team to maintain high standards of health and safety, hygiene and security in the workplace. Promptly raise any issues or concerns.
Skills required - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
