- Description
- Based in Buckingham, my specialist client who have been established in their field for over 35 years, require an Assistant Estimator to join their team on a permanent basis.
This company are the leading supplier, across UK and Ireland of a product manufactured for the construction industry. As such, an individual with some knowledge and experience of ordering and estimating products used in the construction industry is essential. You will be required to follow up all initial enquiries and see them all the way through to tender submission. You must have a very keen eye for detail and possess excellent administrative and organisational skills for the role.
You will be responsible for the following:
*Dealing with customer enquiries
*Establish full and in depth needs of the client, including drawings, specifications etc.
*To produce estimates based on drawings, plans, specifications and material take-offs
*To ensure that all tenders are accurately priced and issued on time with no delay
*To design routes for piping using recommendations and guidelines provided by the manufacturer
*Producing and issuing quotation letters
*Liaising with suppliers regarding prices, product availability, terms and conditions and any issues which may occur
*Manage supply only orders, including order processing and transportation
*To input, update and edit all enquiries, customer and supplier records
You will be required to work a 37.5 hour week, Monday to Friday- (Early finish).
The company will match your pension contributions, up to 5% of your salary. Salary is based on experience, £18,000- £22,000 per annum.
25 days paid leave, plus bank holidays.
