- Part of a group of 37 companies across the globe, my client, based in Aylesbury are looking for an Inventory/Purchasing/Stock Controller to join them on a permanent basis.
The successful applicant will lead a team responsible for the overall management of parts, which includes purchasing materials, providing quotes, stock control and manging the stores department. You will also be required to look after warranty claims and process credit notes as part of the role.
Responsibilities of the role:
*Providing quotations to customers including delivery times, with minimum delay
*To keep customers informed of all progress regarding their order
*Control service exchange and returning of parts, minimising cost and increasing customer satisfaction
*Stock control in conjunction with agreed targets whilst being mindful of product availability
*Managing direct stock sales proportions, stock budgets and turnover
*Processing customer orders
*To obtain supplier quotations
*Collate and maintain technical information such as parts records, using SAP and Access systems
*To file all completed sales orders and all documents associated with orders
*Maintaining stores
*To keep track and monitor all outstanding orders on a weekly basis
*Process warranty claims and returns using the warranty database whilst making sure that all parts are returned to suppliers and the claim is finalised
*Process documents relating to deals of part supply from stock or directly
*Raising credit notes
*Stock checks
You can earn an extra £3,000 per annum ontop of your salary.
Working hours are 8:30am- 5:15pm Monday to Thursday. 8:30am- 4pm on a Friday with 1 hour for lunch.
Once completing the probationary period, you will be eligible for the auto- enrolment pension and the company medical insurance scheme.You will also receive 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.
