- Due to employee relocation our civil engineering client based on the outskirts of Bicester are now seeking to recruit an Administrator to join their small team.
You will be working in a small farm based, family owned, run and managed business that works within the civil engineering industry on the outskirts of Bicester.
It is essential that you have worked within civil engineering, plant hire, utilities or a related construction-oriented industry as this will give you experience/knowledge of the right types of documentation and process terminology. It is additionally essential that you can drive/own a car as there is no public transport.
This is an interesting and varied position where no two days are ever the same. You will need to have a thick skin and resilient to challenges within the day and understand the verbal banter working within a construction office.
You will be acting as front of house for employees and visitors. Performing various administration duties, producing quotes on the in-house software and entering risk assessments/method statements onto the bespoke software package.
Updating the job boards and reconciling this to the excel sheet is an essential and ongoing part of the day so the office can effectively keep up with who is where.
You will be maintaining the tool calibration logs, PA duties and answer general phone/email queries.
Working hours are 7.30am to 5pm Monday to Friday.
