- Due to exciting expansion within their business my well-established client is seeking to recruit a full time Sales Office Administrator to join their growing business in Thame.
You will be providing a high-quality customer service to secure sales; welcoming visitors to the company, acting as a point of contact for customers with queries regarding products, orders & deliveries. Providing support for sales representatives & colleagues you must be goal-oriented, possess exceptional organisational skills and draw energy from being part of a team.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Reception duties
Field incoming telephone calls. Take detailed & accurate messages
Welcome visitors, inform colleagues of guest arrival, provide refreshments / lunches
Housekeeping of reception, meeting room & kitchen facilities
Receive incoming deliveries
Customer Service Duties
Respond to general customer enquiries via phone and email
Promote sales; introducing new & existing products to customers
Stay up to date with new products & features
Offer technical advice and support as necessary
Liaise with customers re damaged goods / warranties
Strive to exceed customer expectations
Sales Leads
Research sales opportunities
Quotations
Research product specification prior to pricing
Liaise with suppliers re product options & pricing
Produce sales quotations & supporting documentation
Complete Pre-qualifying Questionnaires & tender applications
Administer progress of sales quotations
Order Processing
Resolve queries
Data input
Liaise with production office re order progress & deliveries
General Sales Administration
Check accuracy of invoice processing
Communicate important feedback from customers with key internal personnel
Follow and maintain in-house procedures & systems
Daily post / couriers
Update internal diaries
Book staff accommodation as necessary
Project work as required
Maintain stationery supplies
Housekeeping; maintain supplies of all office equipment kitchen amenities
Liaise with Directors & other personnel as required to maintain up to date information
It is essential that you are articulate & polite, be professional with a courteous telephone manner. As well as demonstrating a background in Sales Office Administration/Coordination.
