- Due to continued growth within their business, our client is now seeking to recruit a remote working Finance Systems Implementation Consultant
Whilst this is a remote working role, travel to customer sites is likely to be required on a weekly basis for onsite work. You will have to travel to the company offices for team meetings or training may be required from time to time.
This company produces software that enables construction companies to achieve and maintain competitive advantage. They make real-time actions visible, enabling their customers to control change, eliminate risk and achieve ongoing incremental gains from improved operational efficiency. Across all types of construction and contracting projects, this software is scalable, modular and proven to improve performance, efficiency and success.
You will be joining an organisation that has been producing and supporting construction software for over 35 years. Using proven delivery methodology and having successfully delivered 1000's of implementations their professional services team help customers with every step of the planning, configuration, training and go live. Customers implementation is managed from the installations through the data migration and including the development of custom programming where appropriate.
Part of the Delivery and Implementation team, reporting to the Projects Director, this role is for an experienced Implementation Consultant or ERP Consultant (experienced in the finance modules) with good project implementation experience on accounting and finance software, to lead and deliver system implementations. Delivery will be for both new and existing customers to incorporate new software implementation projects, system migrations for existing customers moving to our latest summit modular software, additional module implementations and integration projects with client 3rd party systems.
In this role you will be part of a busy remote based delivery team, working alongside the Projects Director and Project Managers. You will also need to collaborate closely with other areas of the business. We would be interested in hearing from anyone with proven system implementation experience in finance modules, service management, business analytics or any other systems that require similar implementation skill sets.
Your responsibilities will include:
*Working with customers to determine requirements, define and document the scope of a project;
*Clarify a customer's system specifications, understanding their work practices and the nature of their business
*Travelling to and working on customer sites
*Working with company and customer project managers to plan delivery timescales and the resources needed
*Helping clients with change-management activities where appropriate;
*Design and configuration of software for core finance modules; developing, testing and implementing agreed solutions
*Agreeing the data migration strategy and ensuring the successful migration of agreed data to the new system
*Organising and delivering training for users and other consultants;
*Preparing documentation and presenting progress reports to customers;
*Supporting the customer go-live period and effective handover to the support team for post go-live and on-going support
*Working closely with developers and a variety of end users to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction.
*Ensure updates to project plans, Implementation logs and consultancy tasks lists are regularly updated/produced on time
*Ensure timesheets and expenses are completed on a weekly basis to assist with the management of project budgets and project billing process
*Work with the development team to provide input into the product and help manage feedback from/to clients.
*Perform testing of the product where appropriate.
Essentials:
*Proven experience of leading finance system implementations
*Knowledge of finance systems
*Ability to lead on all aspects of implementation
*Confident and able to work on own initiative
*Strong communication skills due to working remotely
Desirable
*Experience in using ERP Finance software
*Experience of SQL Server / SQL scripting
*Crystal Report writing would be advantageous but not essential
*Previous knowledge of Summit 1000 - 5000 systems, Mentor, progression, Dema would be advantageous but not essential
*Construction / services industry business process knowledge
*Excellent general written and verbal communications skills
Working Hours:9 -5.30 Flexibility Remote - must be able to travel to client sites
