- Have you completed/ partaken in any type of Engineering based study?
Maybe you have experience within quality control and an interest in engineering/ all things technical?
My Bicester based client are experiencing rapid growth, and as such, they are looking to hire a Quality Technician on a permanent basis. If you have a background in quality, are technically minded, with a keen eye for detail, this could be an excellent opportunity to join a successful, innovative company, who continue to go from strength to strength.
Responsibilities of the role:
*To carry out the measurement of components, using handheld devices and Coordinate measuring machinery
*Measuring components for surface finish
*Interpreting technical drawings
*Visually examining components and evaluating them following company standards
*Completing work records and inspection data
*Working alongside the Senior Quality Engineer and assisting with the daily running of inspection
*Liaising with other departments when required
Experience / skills required:
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills
*Excellent time management skills and experience
*High attention to detail is essential
*An ability to multitask and prioritise workload accordingly
*Good IT literacy and the ability to perform administration tasks
*A good level of Maths and English
If you have recently left education and have studied Engineering of some sort, this really could be the job for you as full training will be provided.
Working hours:
8:00- 16:30 Monday to Friday
Salary:
£20,000- £25,000 per annum depending on experience
