Manufacturing Engineer
Location: Bicester
Salary: £35,000- £40,000 Dependant on experience
Working hours: 08:00 to 17:00 5 days a week with a 1-hour lunch break.

Privately owned organisation located in Bicester are looking for an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join their close knit, family orientated team on a permanent basis.
The Manufacturing Engineer will oversee daily activities within production, introducing procedures to increase efficiency and upholding current manufacturing process standards.
Main responsibilities;
* Investigate process concerns and implement changes as and when required
* Generating data and analysing findings
* Working alongside management to discuss process improvements.
* Briefing the Engineers regarding the Integration of new processes/ components
* Managing contractors
* Complete low volume production activities
* TPM checks and schedules.
* Carrying out risk assessments
* NCN investigations
* Ensuring that HSE practices are adhered to
* Suggest and implement improvements on a semi-automatic production line
Required skills and experience;
* Proven track record of improving processes/ introducing change
* Background in engineering/ manufacturing
* Working knowledge of workflow management methodology, i.e., KANBAN, LEAN, 6 Sigma
* Excellent planning and project management skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* CAD - Competent in either 2D or 3D (Desirable not essential)
* An investigative mindset
* The ability to operate under pressure
* Self-motivated
* Attention to detail
