CNC Miller Setter Operators – Late Shift
To £20 per hour + 25% shift uplift

  • Monday–Thursday: 14:00 – 22:00
  • Friday: 13:00 – 20:00

They are now offering an exciting opportunity for a skilled CNC Miller Setter Operator to join their talented team on the late shift.

Role as the CNC Miller

As a CNC Miller Setter Operator, you will play a pivotal role in the daily activities of the manufacturing team, setting and operating a variety of modern machining centres across the facility.

 

What they’re Looking For

  • Strong experience as a Setter/Operator across 3- and 5-axis CNC machining centres
  • Ideally from a precision engineering or prototype environment
  • Working knowledge of Heidenhain, Hurco or Mazatrol controls
  • Ability to confidently read engineering drawings and perform in-process dimensional and visual checks using appropriate measurement tools
  • Experience machining a variety of metals and plastics
  • Excellent communicator, able to give clear feedback to operators and engineers
  • Ability to work to deadlines and manage workload efficiently
  • Willingness to mind multiple machines when required
  • Self-motivated, capable of working autonomously and solving problems independently
