The Role of the Project Administrator
As a Project Administrator, you’ll be the backbone of project coordination, providing essential administrative support to Contracts Managers and wider project teams.
Key responsibilities of the Project Administrator include:
- Supporting project teams with day-to-day administration
- Preparing and formatting project documents with accuracy and consistency
- Managing project folders and maintaining clear, compliant documentation systems
- Keeping Operations & Maintenance (O&M) trackers up to date
- Coordinating communication between colleagues, clients, and suppliers
- Scheduling meetings and taking clear, actionable minutes
- Producing ad-hoc project reports when required
About You
You’re someone who thrives in a structured environment and enjoys keeping things organised and on track.
Essential:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar administrative role, construction background
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Confident communicator with a professional approach
- Good standard of written English and general education
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Desirable:
- Experience within construction, maintenance, or facilities management
- Familiarity with CAFM systems or PowerPoint
