Our client is a global leader in bakery, patisserie and chocolate and now, they’re looking for an experienced Senior QA Technician to join their expanding Buckingham site and help keep quality at the heart of everything they do.

Your Mission as a Senior Quality Assurance Technician

As the Senior QA Technician, you’ll be a quality champion, ensuring product safety, legality and authenticity every step of the way, from raw ingredients to finished products. You’ll work closely with production teams to embed world-class food safety, Critical Control Points (CCPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) into daily operations.

In a dynamic environment where no two days are the same, you’ll use your initiative, technical skills and love of teamwork to keep standards high and customers delighted.

What You’ll Do as a Senior Quality Assurance Technician;

✅ Perform QA checks on packing, labelling, blast/chiller temperatures and more.
✅ Monitor and report product quality from intake to delivery.
✅ Lead root cause analysis on non-conformances and turn challenges into improvements.
✅ Conduct GMP, hygiene, glass and plastic audits – ensuring timely follow-ups.
✅ Calibrate lab equipment and manage certificates, delivery notes and allergen records.
✅ Track and analyse micro sample data to identify trends.
✅ Support external audits and customer visits with professionalism.
✅ Help handle complaints and quality queries quickly and effectively.
✅ Order and manage QA consumables.
✅ Collaborate with Production, Customer Service and R&D teams to drive site-wide quality excellence.
✅ Maintain and improve quality systems, documents and training.
