- Description
- Our Bicester based client are looking for an experienced Warehouse Team Leader to join their team. This is a permanent full time position 7am - 3.30pm.
In general, the Team Leader has responsibility for managing the work-flow through their area, ensuring that customer orders are fulfilled according to specifications issued by the Consumer Warehouse Manager. The Team Leader will issue work instructions to their Team members and take responsibility for the quality of the work produced.
- Customisation of products according to customer needs / repacking and re-labelling as required. Checking correct products and volumes of stock in preparation for dispatch.
- Correct palatalisation / packing and fulfilment of customer orders.
- Liaising with the Manager over workload / timing / priority issues.
- Stock control of raw materials, liaison with Manager re Stock level requirements.
- Coordinate team holidays,attendance and arrange planning of temporary requirements.
- Monitor performance (efficiency and effectiveness) of the team.
- Support with recruitment of new personnel.
Previous line management experience within a warehouse environment is essential along with good working knowledge of computers / MS Office / SAP. Forklift license desirable.
