Do you have lead generation or business development experience and are motivated and ambitious?

You will be a key player in the development of new business opportunities and managing existing/warm clients; working closely with team members to provide a full 360-degree sales and supply solution in-house.

We are currently seeking a business to business sales professional to telephone engage customers to understand their requirements. You will then schedule relationship building calls and develop into a long-term client and account manage them into the maximum exposure.

You will be utilising an industry specific CRM system to contact customers (cold and warm) to understand their needs and we mean really understand their needs… Not just for a quick one fix meeting/appointment, but a meaningful engagement that bears long term opportunity.

Initially this is a higher call environment as you pan for gold and filter through the contacts to find real opportunities, however as you gain traction and build relationships the colder elements will dissipate, and you will primarily be engaging with ongoing customers.

As part of the role you will also be doing regular drive arounds to collect local company information and dropping in on customers to build face to face relationships, as such a UK driving licence and car is essential (mileage paid).

We are seeking a goal oriented and target driven person that is not scared to pick up the phone and engage customers, but also has a friendly and professional character to forge those long-term relationships.

If you are an in-depth researcher before you like to call, then this is not a role for you. We seek individuals that will pick up the phone, engage with customers to understand their needs and move forwards on that basis.

Main duties of the role are:

*To pro-actively identify, research and approach business customers to understand their internal processes and establish the level of opportunity
*Actively promote company solutions
*Update all contact details & files to the appropriate CRM systems
*Self-generate leads, appointments and opportunities for new business growth whilst achieving appointment booking targets
*Negotiate pricing within agreed parameters
*Once trained you will visit prospective clients to further understand the business needs and develop long term/ongoing relationships
You must:

*Have previous telesales, telemarketing or appointment booking experience in a business to business environment
*A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role and have a proven track record
*Target focused, client orientated approach to work
*Strong commercial business acumen
*Driven and motivated individual who leads by example
*Proactive, highly energetic and positive
*Flexible and adaptable approach to your work
*Strong communicator
*Good negotiation skills
*Fair and objective when making decisions.
